Mineral Title Search
AED can research any type of title from mineral to surface, leasehold and beyond. Utilizing detailed flow charts and a highly trained core group of researchers to work through chains of title, AED can quickly and effectively handle any type of title request.

Mineral Title Ownership Reporting
Upon Completion of the title research, a detailed report (including flow-chart) will be provided to the client for their use and review. The report will always contain the following:

Title Curative
Title Curative is an area of the land business where AED continues to shine. Not only by curing title opinions and requests from clients, but also taking a proactive approach at the concept by curing title during mineral and leasehold research. Providing the client with a completed curative report, including documents, is a standardand ensuring the client and any rendering attorney involved are satisfied with the performance is a must.

Leasehold Check and Lease Acquisition
Determining Leasehold is not for everyone however, it is a core skill set of AED and its landmen. To date, AED has performed leasehold checks on over 500,000 acres and has been the project manager and due diligence leader of more than 20 acquisitions on behalfof our clients alone. Reporting as to the ownership of leasehold is key to our client’s growth and we take pride in our precise and efficient expertise in the area.

Mineral Estate and Royalty Acquisition
Last year alone AED experienced over 1,200 closing of mineral estates. With the ability to asses, evaluate and make an offer for minerals owned by private individuals, AED has positioned itself as a well-respected purchaser of minerals. Keeping our word, paying our accepted offers at closing and maintaining a relationship with the seller has been a goal for AED to ensure the transaction was seamless, ethical and appreciated by both sides.

Runsheet Preparation
Preparing a runsheet is a core duty of AED’s on behalf of our clients. The upmost care and concern are given to this portion of the practice and the final report is always delivered with the precision clients and attorneys have come to know and appreciate from AED. Providing both a hard copy and a digital copy of the runsheet is normal practice for AED and following up on the report to answer any questions or assist in tackling the problem areas in title is a service we provide, 100% of the time.

Due Diligence
Whether AED is performing Due Diligence for ourselves or one of our clients, we know what is at stake: confirmation we are getting what we are paying for. Simply stated AED will go through any and all materials and wells files, etc. to ensure the deal that was made for the acquisition is completed in a timely, professional manner and done so with integrity and precision.

ROW Services, Division of Interest Calculation, and NRI Calculation
Locating a path for pipeline, negotiating with a landowner to allow for surface operations or simply obtaining a ROW from the State to allow for a pipeline to bore underneath a State Highway are tasks AED completes regularly. The area of expertise where we really shine comes with the calculation of Net Revenue Interest and providing Paydecks. Working with any previous calculations as well as researching records and well files to determine NRIs is a service and a capability of AED which obviously separates them from many industry firms out there.  AED takes pride in that.
